Bug #4108 (Active): One new option to sort taxon pages?

Mon, 2014-04-28 08:24

Dear team,

I wondered how it could be possible for someone to sort only the taxon page related to a geographic area (like someone would like to know the taxon present in Africa without to scroll in all the taxonomy tre, e.g.)?

This could be like a popup available in the taxonomy tree box, and offering option to sort the taxonomy following some criteria.

Indeed it could be interesting for long taxonomy trees like mine.

Thank you for your informations

Bug #4107 (Active): Is it possible to delete one attached file of an issue request ?

Dear team,

Searching on the web I found this link,d.bGQ

Which point to a txt file that I had submited to give you an exemple of DELTA format in the goal of an old character project.

Is it possible to remove it?
Because I can't find it in the Issues listing.

Thank you for your help!

Bug #4106 (Active): citing biblio in taxon page

Sat, 2014-04-26 16:02

Dear team,

In the wiki, you explain that citing biblio in txaon page need a NID of the corresponding reference.
But How may I find such NID?

This is not the number which appear when selection a reference in bibliography (/node/1360, e.g.) I have tried to use only the number 1360 between the tags [bib][/bib]
But this result in wrong reference.

Best wishes

Feature #4105 (Postponed): Implement RefindIt web services

Fri, 2014-04-25 14:35

To replace (partly) the functionality of the Google Scholar widget we should implement the use of the RefindIt API
RefindIt API provides a centralised access to multiple citation and full text databases incl. CrossRef, Mendeley, PubMed and RefBank

Bug #4103 (Completed - Requires Review): widgets under literature not displayed

Fri, 2014-04-25 10:09

The BHL and Google Scholar widget are not displayed under the literature tab. This does not apply to the IUCN widget under the descriptions tab. The issue persists even after disabling and re-enabling the widgets.

Bug #4102 (Active): BHL widget links not working

Fri, 2014-04-25 10:03

Links to volumes in the BHL widget are unrespnsive and links to specific pages return a 404 error

Feature #4101 (Active): Investigate the use of advagg module

Thu, 2014-04-24 14:26

The OpenAtrium distribution uses the Advanced CSS/JS Aggregation module which appears to intelligently combine CSS and JS files (rather than just smacking them together). This may be suitable for use by the Scratchpads, and should therefore be investigated.

Bug #4100 (Active): pdf upload in Biblio

Wed, 2014-04-23 20:10

Dear Support team,

I had several times issue with pdf upload in biblio. The uploading process is running correctly on 100%, but when it switch to the library I sometimes get this error message.

The specified file temporary://p18m7vffjl1feso3hnh1cu618i44.tmp could not be copied, because no file by that name exists. Please check that you supplied the correct filename.

It is normal pdf. Sometimes help do not use the drag and drop and upload it via upload "Add files" button. But now I got the error message several times also during this procedure.

Any help with that? It will be great to have the book or article pdf attached to the biblio record.
Thank you,
Best Regards,

Bug #4096 (Active): Impossible to add collector without adding new record to People module

Sun, 2014-04-20 14:27

It is impossible to add Collector information without creating a new record other than through import. I do not want to spam my People module with thousands of unnecessary names. Collectors codes in zoological taxonomy are not needed, there are a magnitude more zoologist collectors then botanists.

Collector (COPY) field should allow free input of text for this cases

Bug #4094 (Active): blank page

Mon, 2014-04-14 15:17

- returns a blank page;
- It is configured (in all relevant places - vhost.d/killwerwhales, drush settings and the aegir database) to use
- The last run verify ( ; 12th of march) and migration ( ; 3rd of march ) show it using msq-scratchpads-02.

- There is no killerwahles database on msq-scratchpads-02;
- There is no backup for killerwhales in /var/backups/scratchpad_database/msq-scratchpads-02;
- There is a killerwhales database on msq-scratchpads;
- There are backups for killerwhales db in /var/backups/scratchpad_database/msq-scratchpads.

The two don't add up - aegir suggests that the site used to be hosted in msq-scratchpads-02; but nothing else suggests that this database ever existed there.

It is hard to tell how old the database on msq-scratchpads is; however the oldest content in it dates from the 12th of march. This happens to be the date of the 2.4 release. It could be that the site was moved to msq-scratchpads-02 when it was migrated for that release; and so the database we have is the one from before that (this would be consistent with the fact that some of the 2.4.0 updates had not been applied to the database in msq-scratchapds).

For now, given that the database on msq-scratchpads is the only one we have, I have manually updated the configurations to point to that one. The site back, though content may be missing. I'm setting this issue to urgent.

Bug #4093 (Completed - Requires Review): New User Regitration fields not filled in in Edit tab

Thu, 2014-04-10 14:29

A new user has registered for Weevil Info ('Braham'). I am going to allow him access. However, although his names and institution are visible on the 'View' tab, when I open the 'Edit' tab to unblock him and assign him a status the name and institution fields are empty, and I am not able to save the record without completing them again. The behaviour is the same with Firefox and IE.

Bug #4092 (Active): Problem with biblio

Wed, 2014-04-09 17:24

Dear Team,

I have added several references to my biblio on the site but only five is shown on the Literature tabs.
But in the content>biblio there are all there (15 references) and all are published too.

Please could you check this point?

Task #4089 (Active): Creating maps for higher taxa

Tue, 2014-04-08 11:43

Issue created by email from Ulf Jondelius (maintainer of

How can I map higher taxa, i.e. all specimens from a certain genus or family? Currently (at least inour scratchpad -, we can only map specimens at the species level.

Task #4088 (Active): Specimen data export based on country

Tue, 2014-04-08 11:42

Issue created by email from Ulf Jondelius (maintainer of

I have a simple question that I have not been able to solve. How do you export specimen data to a csv or Excel file after a search, e.g when searching for all specimens from a specific country? This was very easy in Scratchpads 1.0, as we had a table available right below our “taxon map”. How is it done in 2,0.?

Bug #4087 (Active): Biblio import error

Mon, 2014-04-07 16:13

Biblio import stopped when importing ~ 17,000 records. I cut out imported records and tried to re-import the file, but it stops with an error after parsing stage. Several attempts were made with the same result

Bug #4086 (Active): authors of publications

Sat, 2014-04-05 16:47

Is is possible to edit the names of authors of publications once for all their publications, in such a way that they are shown in a particular form?

1. The author Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck is now shown as "von Esenbeck, CGottf". He should be shown as "Nees von Esenbeck, CGD".

2. The author "Pedro Luis Rodrigues de Moraes" wants to be shown as "Moraes, PLR de". He is now shown as "de Moraes, PLRodrigu"

I think any algorithm, however smart it was programmed, cannot possibly know how an author would like to be cited.
